I guess this all got sparked from a post on my cloth diaper board about a diaper package on Zulily.com, but no one knew anything about that brand. We didn't know if it was a pocket, a prefold, an insert, or what, and the description was vague at best. So no one bought it. I thought "that could be the best bit of cloth ever to touch R's skin, or it could end up being a dustrag. I'll never know, because no one wanted to try, because there were no reviews.
Here's where I jump in. I'm going to try as many brands as I can find, giving each a minimum of 3 days, going up to a week. If the company who makes the diapers sends them to me so I can try them and rate them, I'll do a giveaway at the end of every week containing the clean diapers that they have sent. If I've bought them, and don't like them, I'll e-bay them off.
To start, so I'm not waiting weeks and weeks for a company to send me possible free trials, I'll start with the brands I already have. Each kind will be tested (pockets, AIO, AI2, Inserts, Prefolds etc) and I'll even give them the husband's view point. I know which ones are his favourite currently, but that might change! Ease of use, fit and even dry time will be included. If you're going to step in, you might as well jump in.
All questions about the diapers will be answered as best I can, and I'll do a picture each week of the current "trial." The profile is not just me, it's R's info, since it's her little heiny doing the majority of the work.
